April Fools “A List” Wins Pulitzer (okay, not really)
Proving that—despite ample evidence to the contrary— people in the golf business have a sense of humor after all, the experts at the A Position.com have flat-out made up the golf stories they’d most like to see for an April 1 edition of “The A List”. The A List is a monthly compendium of expert golf and travel info and opinions brought to you by the leading journalists in the industry. Charged with inventing fictitious stories for April Fools Day, the A Position writers took aim at slow play, USGA rules, the hallowed entity that is The Masters, and even golf journalists themselves. They also promised to refrain from ever again using the world “undulating” to describe a putting surface (sadly, no they didn’t).
The A Position.com is a network of websites featuring the world’s best golf and travel writers. The term “The A Position” refers to the ideal place a golfer can land his tee shot. On the web, it refers to the site readers will want to land on for great golf and travel journalism.
