{"id":1184,"date":"2013-03-12T17:46:11","date_gmt":"2013-03-12T17:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/anthonypioppi.com\/?p=1184"},"modified":"2013-03-12T17:46:11","modified_gmt":"2013-03-12T17:46:11","slug":"travelers-championship-building-a-strong-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theaposition.com\/anthonypioppi\/golf\/1184\/travelers-championship-building-a-strong-field","title":{"rendered":"Travelers Championship Building a Strong Field"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The PGA Tour&#8217;s Travelers Championship\u2014the closest major sporting event to my house!\u2014announced early commitments to this year&#8217;s tournament scheduled for June 20-23 at TPC River Highlands, in Cromwell, Conn.<a href=\"http:\/\/theaposition.com\/anthonypioppi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/57\/2013\/03\/00122243-image.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1185\" src=\"http:\/\/theaposition.com\/anthonypioppi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/57\/2013\/03\/00122243-image-300x173.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"173\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, Keegan Bradley and defending champion Marc Leishman (pictured) say they are playing this year, according to the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Watson, the defending Masters Champion, won his first PGA Tour event at River Highlands in 2010.
