Shinnecock and Pebble Beach hosted U.S. Opens while Michaud was in charge.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, after over a decade at Shinnecock, Michaud&#8217;s contract was not renewed, a move that came as a surprise to most superintendents in the Long Island region.
