His compliment came after John Daly elected to putt from the closely mown area behind the 13th green rather than chip. Daly&#8217;s effort from approximately 40 feet, 20 of which was off the putting surface, curled just wide of the cup and he tapped in for par.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You have to give some credit the Jonathan Wright the golf course superintendent  and his guys.
