The key is to learn to <em>eat clean<\/em>. It\u2019s not how much you eat. It\u2019s <em>what<\/em> you eat that matters most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When you combine some simple physical activity with Jacobs\u2019 method of eating, the body\u2019s metabolism gets trained to burn fat instead of storing it. \u201cI don\u2019t want my clients obsessing over a number on a scale, which can be demoralizing,\u201d adds Jacobs. \u201cThe best way to measure progress isn\u2019t weight, it\u2019s about getting smaller and fitting into smaller clothes plus how much more energetic you look and feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Coaching Bad Bellies and Big Bellies<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Thin for Life program had its genesis in California during the 1970s, when Jacobs began suffering severe gastrointestinal pain.
