The opening hole is a dogleg left where you have to land your ball between two avenues of pine trees with bunkers protecting the right hand side and a fairway that slopes left to right.<\/p>\n<p>After the first few holes the Simon Gidman designed course opens out with indigenous fescue grasses being a feature and the rolling typography giving some stunning views across the Hertfordshire countryside.
