I recently was impressed with a brief stay at the Mode Sathorn Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. This 38-story high rise is situated on a very small footprint, but features 201 beautiful decorator-designed rooms in six classes of suites to appeal to most discriminating urban needs.<\/p>\n\"modepool\"\n

There is important on-site parking. Relax at the spa or take a dip in the infinity pool on the 11th floor, and you will be bragging about the views from either the 10th or particularly the 38th floor bar and restaurant areas.<\/p>\n\"moderoof\"\n

About the only negative was the horribly slow elevators frequently causing waits of nearly ten minutes while standing in the hot, stuffy, dimly lit hallways. Otherwise, everything was quite marvelous.<\/p>\n\"Mode\n

The Mode Sathorn Hotel is conveniently central in Bangkok\u2019s renowned entertainment, embassy, shopping and business district adjacent to Surasak BTS Station on North Sathorn, two-stop from Sala Daeng Station (interchange with MRT Silom Station) on Silom Road, or one\u2013stop from Saphan Thaksin riverside station.
