Truth be shared, I enjoy business as much as golf, and my reading and library more than reflects that.\u00a0 There have been a number of books recently that have tried to impart golf\u2019s life lessons to business.\u00a0 Most are simply a collection or rehashing of platitudes, not much original and hardly worth purchasing.\u00a0 What a delightful surprise David Rynecki\u2019s \u201cDeals on the Green\u201d is.\u00a0 It is not a \u201chow to win business\u201d work, but rather an anecdotal review of the qualities needed to succeed in not just golf and business, but life.<\/p>\n
\u201cDeals on the Green\u201d is such a good read, I could not put it down.\u00a0 It is a quick one as well.\u00a0 Author Rynecki takes you within the ultra private golf domains of such places as Cypress Point, Deepdale, and Augusta National, and reveals an inside look at many of the chieftains of commerce who also relish golf.\u00a0 The list of subjects is impressive and includes: Buffett, Huizenga, Schwab, O\u2019Neal, Welch, Ridder, Fireman, and Gates to name just a few.\u00a0 It also includes a candid insight into the golf business featuring Taylormade and their CEO, Mark King.\u00a0 One thing for sure is that Rynecki has had some very interesting experiences.\u00a0 I found \u201cDeals on the Green\u201d to be both informative and insightful.\u00a0 I definitely recommend it.<\/p>\n
