Henry Do and Grant Haefner qualified but didn\u2019t make match play.<\/p>\n<p>US Girls Junior at SentryWorld, Stevens Point, WI: Okemos&#8217;<strong> Allison<\/strong> <strong>Cui<\/strong> and Northville\u2019s <b>Nicole Whatney<\/b> qualified but missed the cut.<\/p>\n<p>US Junior at Inverness in Toledo, OH: Mattawan\u2019s <b>Luke Pelak <\/b>and Eastmanville\u2019s <b>August <\/b><strong>Meekoff<\/strong> both qualified but only Meekoff advanced to match play where he lost his first match.<\/p>\n<p>US Women\u2019s Amateur at Old Waverly in West Point, Miss.: <b>Katie Chipman<\/b> of Canton made match play and won her first match.<\/p>\n<p>US Senior Women\u2019s Amateur at Cedar Rapids CC in Iowa: Holt\u2019s <b>Julie Massa<\/b> qualified for match play but bowed out in her second match. Former Michigan resident and Michigan Golf Hall of Fame member <b>Mary Jane Hiestand <\/b>accomplished the same.<\/p>\n<p>US Senior Amateur at Old Chatham in Durham, NC: Ovid\u2019s <b>Jerry Gunthorpe<\/b>, Jackson\u2019s <b>Steve Maddalena,<\/b> Kalamazoo\u2019s <b>Mitch Wilson<\/b> all qualified for match play but lost their first match. Lansing\u2019s <b>Nick Gunthorpe<\/b>, Harrison\u2019s <b>Austin Krieger<\/b>, E. Lansing\u2019s <b>Steve Nichols<\/b> and Bloomfield Hills\u2019 <b>Scott Strickland <\/b>all qualified. Alma\u2019s <strong>Randy Lewis<\/strong> was exempt but didn\u2019t make match play. Ellis qualified for match play and bowed out in his \u2018Sweet 16\u2019 match.
