Driving up the coast from Sea Island, Anderson rejoined Snedeker at Harbour Town last week and it proved pivotal. After a disappointing third round of one-over par 72 which placed him six shots behind the leader, Snedeker returned to the range under the watchful eye of Anderson. Anderson emailed me this week saying the duo \u201cworked on sequencing Brandt\u2019s backswing to eliminate excess arm swing at the top. Basically we tried to shorten his arm swing while maintaining a full turn.\u201d<\/p>\n
And basically<\/em> it clicked for Snedeker. He went out on Sunday and fired the low round of the day, a seven-under par 64 which vaulted him into a playoff victory over Luke Donald and for his second Tour win. Incidentally, Snedeker has come back from two separate physical setbacks over the last two years.
