Also, more than one ASGCA member has been threatened with arrest without cause in a foreign country, all while innocently designing golf courses.<\/p>\n
Stories like these are only part of the harrowing, moving, challenging and inspirational experiences of golf course architects published in the \u201cSecrets\u201d book. This 244-page, hard cover, full-color coffee table book \u2013 co-authored by Michael Patrick Shiels \u2013 is available at www.asgca.org.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1946 by 14 leading architects, the American Society of Golf Course Architects is a non-profit organization comprised of experienced golf course designers located throughout the United States and Canada.
