Also, more than one ASGCA member has been threatened with arrest without cause in a foreign country, all while innocently designing golf courses.<\/p>\n<p>Stories like these are only part of the harrowing, moving, challenging and inspirational experiences of golf course architects published in the \u201cSecrets\u201d book. This 244-page, hard cover, full-color coffee table book \u2013 co-authored by Michael Patrick Shiels \u2013 is available at www.asgca.org.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cASGCA members all have stories about their adventures in golf course architecture,\u201d says ASGCA President Rick Phelps. \u201cInevitably, people who hear these stories will say, \u2018You should write a book!\u2019 So, we did.
