Firstly congratulations to Aaron Rai on his first Major Championship victory at the PGA Championship. I for one thought it was a great championship to watch with so many twists and turns and I felt the course was perfect, rewarding players who put the ball in the fairway.
The PGA Tour now moves back to Texas but this time heading for Dallas and the third year under the name of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson which will be played for the third year at TPC Craig Ranch. Designed by 1973 Open Champion Tom Weiskopf and to be honest he probably wouldn’t put it among his best designs and that is more down to the topography and the remit he was probably given.
