![Our first stop off the airplane was The Ugadale Hotel at The Village at Machrihanish Dunes, on the ruggedly beautiful Kintyre Peninsula. This historic hotel only recently re-opened after a multi-million dollar roof-to-foundation renovation, and it is as comfortable as it is grand.
