A lot of golfers are familiar with the PGA Merchandise Show for industry members held each January in Orlando but perhaps don’t know there is another exhibition, albeit much smaller, each fallin Las Vegas. Well, there is and the 2012 PGA Expo just concluded its Aug. 21-22 run having attracted several thousand PGAProfessionals, golf buyers and industry leaders.
“The PGA Expo has undoubtedly found the correct formula by being in the center of Las Vegas Fashion Week, which allows PGA and industry professionals to see the entire fashion world, attend education conference seminars, test the latest equipment and see the newest apparellines in just three days,” explainedPGAGolf Exhibitions Senior Vice President Ed Several.
Attendees came from 47 U.S. states and 21 countries to see the displays and exhibits from 200 golf companies featuring both indoor and outdoor product testing, several fashion programs, education seminars, presentations and networking events.
This year’s Education Conference seminars covering Golf 2.0 programs and issues were extremely popular with many seminars filled to capacity. “Working hand-in-hand with ThePGAto build an even better instruction and education component resulted in unprecedented attendance byPGAProfessionals,” said Several.
