Bobby Jones, celebrating the apparel brand’s 25th anniversary this year, has unveiled its collection of luxury knit polo tops for summer.
Bobby Jones summer collections offer a variety of color and styles
Highlighting the new collection are Bobby Jones exclusive Supreme Cotton garments. This assortment offers pieces featuring 120/2 100 percent Pima gassed cotton interlock construction for comfort. Bobby Jones offers two different styles in its Supreme Cotton selection for summer – Solid Supreme Cotton polo and Supreme Flag Stripe polo.
The Solid Supreme Cotton, according to the company, features a flat knit collar with three percent Lycra for added shape-support wash after wash. The Solid Supreme Cotton comes in an 10 vivid colors – Apricot, Black, Cambridge Red, Light Grey, Meadow, Navy, Sapphire, Surf Blue, White and Wisteria.
The Flag Stripe utilizes a yarn dye interlock stripe pattern and a distinct flat knit collar, featuring a birdseye pattern top collar and a solid under collar with tipping for a sophisticated, yet modern look. The Flag Stripe is offered in five hues – Apricot, Cambridge Red, Meadow, Navy and Sapphire.
Each of the styles also utilizes a three-button placket featuring the trademark Bobby Jones Player embroidery. Bobby Jones Supreme Cotton polos will be available at green-grass shops June 15.
Continuing Bobby Jones collection of fine cotton knits for summer are those constructed from 60/2 Double Mercerized 100% Egyptian Cotton, providing the wearer with a glossy luster and soft silk-like hand feel that is breathable and luxurious. Bobby Jones offers a election of 20 different styles of Double Mercerized Egyptian Cotton tops, the focus this season is on two, in particular Hagen Jac and Palmer Stripe.
The Hagen Jac features a Jacquard pattern in nine colors (Apricot, Black, Cambridge Red, Meadow, Summer Navy, Surf Blue, White and Wisteria) and utilizes a three-button placket showcasing the Bobby Jones Player embroidery paired with a classic tailored self-collar with stand.
The Palmer Stripe offers a flat knit collar style with a contrasting fine-line stripe under collar and jersey striping throughout the body of the shirt, which is available in nine colors (Apricot, Black, Cambridge Red, Meadow, Summer Navy, Surf Blue, White and Wisteria). The Palmer Stripe also utilizes a 3-button placket with the embroidered Bobby Jones Player logo.
Each of the Bobby Jones Double Mercerized 100 percent Egyptian Cotton knits for summer feature new signature mother-of-pearl buttons with a laser engraved logo. The mother-of-pearl buttons, according to the company, are harvested from ocean-farmed cultured shells and the face of the button is recut after the dyeing process to remove color creating an eye-catching element for discerning wearers.
The Hagen Jac and Palmer Stripe each will be available at green-grass retailers by June 15.
Rounding out Bobby Jones fine cotton knits for summer is the Cotton Lisle selection. The Lisle fabric process produces a fine, smooth tightly twisted thread spun from premium long-stapled cotton for a smooth, lustrous finish. This summer, Bobby Jones offers two signature Cotton Lisle knits – the Driver Stripe and Ace Jacquard.
The Driver Stripe features a tailored self-collar with stand and showcases a yarn-dye jersey stripe pattern with a contrast back stand. Driver Stripe is available in Apricot, Surf Blue and Wisteria.
The Ace Jacquard offers a tailored button down collar, paired with a floating jacquard pattern on the body of the shirt. The Ace Jacquard is available in four shades – Apricot, Meadow, Surf Blue and Wisteria. Each). The Driver Stripe and Ace Jacquard each will be available at on-course shops by June 15.
