Mark Wilson gave Ping Golf something additional talk about going into this week’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. Wilson won the Humana Challenge this past Sunday with Ping’s new i20 driver and irons.
Wilson switched to the i20 driver and irons in the off-season and debuted them the Hyundai Tournament at Kapalua earlier this month where he finished T1 in driving accuracy.
“Usually it takes me a little time, but this was an easy change,” Wilson said after his Humana victory. “They looked great to my eye and they perform better, so it was a no-brainer.”
Wilson played an 8.5-degree i20 driver with True Temper’s Grafalloy Tour X shaft. In his i20 irons, Wilson played 4-PW (yellow) with Ping’s CS Lite steel shafts.
