adidas Golf’s new adizero line will be available Jan. 24 at a suggested retail price of $180 per pair. Weighing in at only 10.6 ounces, adidas Golf says the adizero Tour shoe is 38 percent lighter than the adidas Tour360 ATV and features the company’s thinnest outsole ever at 1.2mm.
The adizero shoe is designed with ultra-light materials, according to adidas Golf, performance without sacrificing stability. The key is a new anatomical last and revolutionary SPRINTFRAME outsole that the company says significantly reduces shoe weight while maintaining comfort and returning energy to each stride.
For women, adidas Golf is releasing an adizero Tour model with a six-cleat outsole at only 9.2 ounces, claiming the title as the lightest cleated women’s tour shoe it has ever created.
Also available will be the adizero Sport (SRP $100), a golf shoe built on the adidas SUPERNOVA running last for lightweight comfort and a sneaker-like feel. Made of breathable mesh and microfiber leather construction, adizero Sport is the lightest of the men’s adizero models at 9.5 ounces, and features a six-spike SPRINTFRAME outsole.
