The European Tour now moves to Denmark and the Furesø Golf Club which was founded in 1975. The course originally started out as a par three course, but was gradually expanded to a 9-hole course and by 1989 the club had a full 18-hole layout.

Today, Furesø is now a 27-hole layout with the course having a parkland design and sits in some of the most charming and peaceful surroundings and features many small ponds. The hilly terrain has helped the course gain popularity, with several of the holes having been nominated as some of Denmark’s best par 3 and par 4s.

There are three loops of 9-holes with the original 18-hole championship course comprising of the Farum and Hestkøbsgård nines. The course offers a variety of designs where your game is challenged by the many lakes, trees, bunkers, and dog-legs, as well as an entrances to greens which are protected by some challenging run-off areas. The greens are fast with subtle and not so subtle undulations.
