Open to golfers worldwide, the Second Annual Montecristo Cup and Esencia Cup golf tournament takes place from April 22 -24, 2010 at the Varadero Golf Club - the island’s only international course in Varadero – Cuba ‘s no.1 holiday destination. The 18-hole international tournament is sponsored by Montecristo, one of the most famous Cuban cigar brands in the world. Both amateur and professional golfers, with a handicap of 26 or less, can test their skills at this unique event, and public spectators are also welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the competition winners by Spanish professional golfer Alvaro Quiros. Registration is £100 and the fee covers three days of Cuban Pro-Am golf.
