WYNTK:
It was nice to see the old King Cobra logo used again on their latest offering, the King Cobra wedge but more importantly the new Snakebite grooves are designed to maximize spin on the short scoring shots to give more control to hit it closer to the hole.
These precisely cut grooves are CNC milled with 11% more depth, 40% sharper edges plus progressive length and shaping varying with the wedge loft. The 48° through 54° lofts have the usual groove lengths but they are narrower and deeper while the 56° to 60° lofts grooves are the full width of the face and are wider and shallower.
The Versatile Grind (49°- 60°) is for designed for play on courses that are usually have medium to firm conditions while the progressive sole Classic Grind (52°, 56° and 60°) has been relieved on the trailing edge to help those with steep attack angles. The Wide Low Grind (56°-60°) is just as the name says, a low bounce very wide sole for bunkers and soft turf conditions.
