AS was the case in the 2022 series of Tour B balls they four are divided between usage by high-speed swing speed players and more modest swingers. The cover of urethane again employs some sophisticated “impact modifiers”—remember Bridgestone is a rubber tire company—and the second version used in the new models is called Reactive IQ.
The ball mid-layer or mantle was also made denser for better energy transfer to the ball.
Woods role in the Tour B series centered on the Tour B X which he switched to from the XS after several fittings with Bridgestone engineers. the XS model due to ongoing sessions with Bridgestone ball fitters. He played a version of the XS model for close to 20 years even prior to signing with Bridgestone since the Nike brand ball he used was made by Bridgestone.
