TMaG’s new R1 driver off to a fast start

TaylorMade Golf-adidas Golf’s new R1 driver is off to a hot start. Less than two weeks from its global availability at retail, the R1 has three victories, including two of the first three events on the PGA Tour.

This past weekend, Brian Gay won Humana Challenge in a three-way playoff, while John Cook rallied to win the Champions Tour’s Mitsubishi Electric Championship. Earlier this month, Dustin Johnson recorded the first win for R1 at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. Gay also became the first player on Tour this year to win with the new 2013 Titleist Pro V1x prototype golf ball. In fact, the first five finishers at the Humana Challenge played Titleist golf ball.
