Providence Florida Golf Community Shows Building Boom

Orlando, Fla. — While growth elsewhere remains progressive but slow, the Providence Florida gated golf course community located minutes from Orlando is experiencing a rapid increase in demand for its homes in its countryside setting. Providence, developed by ABD Development in 2005, is a large private expanse of neighborhoods with homes built by renowned builders such as Lennar, Contempo, Richmond American Homes, Park Square Homes, and ABD Development.

At this time there are 55 houses under construction and 19 closings scheduled for December alone. As 2014 begins, Providence will have several new communities from which interested home buyers and investors may choose: Rosemont Woods will feature new vacation homes by Park Square Homes; the second phase of Lennar’s Cortland Woods will make its debut; and Richmond American Homes will have several models for showings as its sales begin in December.

“Adding to the excitement of new builders and development in Providence, the golf course has completed renovations and the annual winter over-seeding is in so the course is in the best condition it’s ever been,” says ABD Development’s President, Yuval Botansky. “This is great timing as we are currently beginning construction on ABD’s new addition to Providence, Sherbrook Springs golf course villas. The demand for these homes is very high already so we encourage interested parties to contact us as soon as possible.”

Located approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Orlando giving it close proximity to Disney and the main airport, Providence currently features over 700 occupied luxury homes, many custom built with special features and stunning views of lakes and the golf course. ABD Development was the recipient of the Grand Showcase and First Place Awards for Community Development in the 2012 and 2013 Orlando Parade of Homes competitions.
