Waiting out one of the coolest, wettest June’s in the history of the Northwest was an exercise in patience. We were rewarded though, and got our chance to photograph the beautiful Chambers Bay Golf Course, which will host the 2015 US Open. Driving there through a hard rain, I could only believe the weather predictions of an afternoon clearing. Scouting the course in a drizzle, thinking my shoot would be the next day, suddenly the clouds parted and sun broke out. Puffy clouds added interest to the skies. The next day continued the run of weather luck with air so clear you could see forever. Enjoy this view of a beautiful golf property!
