High pressure was predicted to continue over Scotland,and just at the right time. Permission had just come in to shoot at Trump International Scotland. We were very excited and drove the lovely 2 hr drive to just north of Aberdeen on the East Coast. On a gorgeous Friday afternoon, we turned off the highway to drive into the course. I saw high dunes in the distance and my excitement grew. At my first look at the course, I could not believe how high the dunes were. Being a golf course photographer, I could not wait to get out and shoot. I met the superintendent who told me this was the first sun in a while. We stayed out until nearly dark happily shooting this incredible course. When Mr. Trump saw the review photos for an article being run by World Magazine, out of New Zealand, he called us to New York to discuss going back and shooting the whole course. Below is a photo of us with him in his office. This has got to be one of the best new courses in years!
