The tour moves onto CordeValle Golf Club for the Frys.com Open, it is 30 minutes south of San Jose, California and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.

Voted seventh on the list of best courses you can play in California for 2010 by Golfweek, Golf.com also named CordeValle forth on the list of California’s Best courses in 2009. Situated on the gently rolling terrain in a pastoral California valley, the course makes the most of the natural elevation changes of its peaks and canyons which are enhanced by broad meadows, streams, striking sycamore and mature California oak trees, Robert Trent Jones Jr. has created what many consider one of his greatest masterpieces.

“The location had so many great possibilities that it was difficult to decide which to choose,” Jones stated, “CordeValle is one of those pure ‘core golf’ experiences. It is perhaps my finest golf course creation,”

My tips to win:

After last weeks great performance at the home of golf and the greatest moment of his career so far Louis Oosthuizen 33/1 will becoming into this tournament in confident mood.

Bryce Molder 33/1 has had a good season so far finishing in the Top 10 five times having had four rounds in the 60s at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open finishing on -16.

Chez Reavie 40/1 finished tenth on the FedEx Cup rankings with nine Top 25 finishes this year, his best coming at the Deutsche Bank Championship where he came runner-up. He didn’t have the greatest of tournaments at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open where he missed the cut last week.

My each-way tips:

I have been banging on all year about Tommy Gainey 50/1 winning a tournament this year, he has seven Top 10 finishes this year, four of them are third place finishes including last weeks at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open so he will becoming into this tournament full of confidence.

It says a lot about an amateur golfer that the bookies put a price of 50/1 on their head, but then Patrick Cantley is no ordinary amateur golfer. Cantley set a course record 60 at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands and finished joint 21st at this year’s US Open.

Paul Goydos 50/1 also finished the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in joint third place. It has been a bit of a roller coaster year for Paul with four Top 25 finishes and eight missed cuts, but he should be challenging again this week after last weeks confidence booster.
