Firstly congratulations to Francesco Molinari on winning The Open Championship and becoming the first Italian major championship winner. The European Tour now moves back to mainland Europe and Germany for the Porsche European Open at the Green Eagle Golf Courses in Hamburg. The 7,582-yard North Course is one of the longest on the European Tour and takes up an impressive 86 hectares of the complex and opened for play in 2008.
