Harvey Firestone, founder of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, established the Firestone Country Club in the late 1920s as a park for his employees. Bert Way designed the original layout back in 1929, it has since had a redesign by Robert Trent Jones in 1960. It’s a tough track at 7,400 yards with two halves of 35 making a par 70.
