The European Tour moves to Denmark and is the final counting event for this year’s Ryder Cup European Team, fitting then that the development of the course was overseen by Captain Thomas Bjorn. Silkeborg Golf Club is situated in Resenrbro, to the north of Silkeborg, in the part of Denmark known as “the heart of Jutland.”

The course was design by Line Mortensen and inspired by Danish tour professional Søren Kjeldsen, the course is cut through a pine forest and has 134 bunkers to navigate, so it will certainly be a tough test of the players this week.
