The European Tour stays on the British Isles but moves south to the Herbert Fowler designed Walton Heath GC, where James Braid was the first professional at the club and King Edward V111 was club captain in 1935, strange that he see fit to never give the club its Royal seal of approval.

This week’s sees Justin Rose team up with Sky Sports for the British Masters and they will use a composite of the Old and New courses at Walton Heath. I have played both courses many times over the years and I have always found it challenging but fair.
