The European Tour moves to Asia this week for the Maybank Championship and pitches up at the the Saujana Golf & Country Clubs. The Palm Course – nicknamed The Cobra – was renovated by Ron Fream in 2015 who added length to the course and new green complexes, he also replaced the 6th and 7th holes with two new holes at 8 and 9.

The course has hosted the Malaysian Open seven times, one of the main battles players will have this week is the weather with scorching temperatures, so hydration will be very important this week. Once players have acclimatised they will then have to do battle with the small greens with their elaborate complexes.
