The PGA’s new wraparound season now moves to Jeju Island – which is south of South Korea’s and referred to as Korea’s Maui – The Club at Nine Bridges is a 7,196 yards, par 72 golf course, designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale which was completed in 2001 and is the perfect combination of a great golf course in a stunning setting.

The two nines wander through pine-clad rolling land at the foot of Mount Halla – South Korea’s tallest mountain. Parts of Jeju Island resemble Perthshire so the boost of the PR people that the design resembles a Scottish Highlands course rings true to a point, but the finishing and manicuring is more akin to an American style golf course.
