I am fortunate enough to know the Forest of Arden course very well being that it was my home course while at Coventry University with the club kindly offering the golf team which I was captain of a five-day membership, so as you would imagine we would study of a morning and head to the course for the afternoon.

The course was founded in 1970 when Donald Steel was commissioned to design the course that regularly hosted the English Open and has also hosted the British Masters and was one of the few venues that finishes with a par 3 hole.
