After its seven week stint in the UK and Ireland the European Tour moves back to mainland Europe and pitches up at the Albatross golf resort in the Czech Republic for this week’s D+D Real Czech Masters, the course is situated in the Vysoky Ujezd on the outskirts of Prague and not far from the international airport Ruzyne.
The course was designed by Keith Preston and opened for play in 2010 and has hosted the Prague Golf Masters, a Ladies European Tour event, where the course won much praise for its condition. One of the big surprises is how gentle the first few opening holes are for a European Tour venue.
