The PGA tour now moves back to the US and pitches up in South Carolina at the Tom Fazio designed Congaree Golf Club which is situated on an historic 18th-century estate, and surrounded by over 2,000 acres of lakes and longleaf pine forests.
The course looks very natural but Fazio did move tons of earth, he also moved and replanted enormous pine trees, some of which are over a century old and introduced forced carries over waste areas too wide fairways and wide greens.
