The European Tour heads back to Ireland this week and this time pitching up at the K Club in County Kildare, who played host to those memorable Ryder Cup Matches in 2006.
Designed by Arnold Palmer in 1991 and originally called the North Course – now known as the Palmer course – it weighs in at 7,350-yards, but don’t worry there are four teeing options for you to choose from.
It’s very much a marmite course – you either love it or hate it – The River Liffey plays a big part in the design of this track and meanders through the course and becomes hazardous on a number of holes, including the 8th, where it runs down the left hand side of the fairway.
