Did you know that identical twins, Dick and Dan Murphy, both esteemed PGA golf professionals from the Atlanta, GA area both scored double-eagles in 1980? Dan, the professional at Cherokee Town and Country Club notched a 2 on his course’s 520-yard sixth hole while brother Dan, the professional at the Peachtree Golf Club double-eagled its 517-yard second hole. Oddly enough, both were the first such scores on both holes.
