Many of us improperly believe we are good at learning some things, but bad at others. In fact, we often over-identify with our personal qualities and traits to believe they are permanent. They are not. Unless you have a specific learning disability, you might be surprised to discover that the human brain is designed to learn easily. Witness a child learning a language versus a typical adult. The difference is we’ve developed limiting beliefs. Believe you can. Remember that everything that you now do well was either impossible or done poorly at first. Witness a toddler trying to place a spoonful of food in its mouth. Just relax your expectations concerning how good or how fast you might be at learning, and then celebrate every small accomplishment. Use your imagination to your benefit and not detriment!
