I have long ago come to the conclusion that the best leaders are also the best coaches. Leadership is simple though not easy. There is no silver bullet so don’t obsess about it. The leader can only get results through other people and is best when people barely know (s)he exists. Leadership is not about domination, but about service. Neither is leadership ever about trying to master or manipulate others for that always ends up an ineffective effort. The question that any leader must answer is “How can I help my people operate at their natural best?”
