Woods to Tee it Up on a Seth Raynor Design

The Greenbrier Classic announced that Tiger Woods has committed to play in this year’s tournament scheduled for July 5-8. The event is contested on the Old White Course, a Seth Raynor design. In 2010 Stuart Appleby shot 59 in the final round on his way to the victory. Phil Mickelson had already announced he would be playing the Greenbrier.

This would be the third time in the last nine months that Woods plays a tournament for the first time as a pro. He played the Frys.com Open in October in San Martin, Calif., and the Honda Classic in March. Woods last played the Honda Classic as a teenager.
