The Amazing Carnoustie Oakmont Connection

Once previously, back in Ben Hogan’s magical, three-major campaign of 1953, the British Open and the U.S. Open were staged, respectively, at Carnoustie and Oakmont. Those two venues dominated the golf calendar again in 2007, and fittingly so, given the historical ties that bind them.
