Dean Snell’s consumer direct business model has been an outstanding success featuring both quality products with the reputation for performance and advantageous pricing and in 2023 there are two new balls targeting distinctly different players. Keeping with their idea of selling below the level of other premium brands in the same category the latest release is the same price as those from 2021.
As Snell said in the announcement, ““We listened to our customers over the last several years, and one goal was to separate out the profiles of our models a bit more than our previous MTB models, so golfers could really tell the differences and decide which ball was right for them”.
Both the MTB Prime and MTB Prime X offer low driver/long game spin but the X’s Flex+ mantle keeps iron spin lower. Snell explained, “Not all golfers want more spin, some already spin the ball too much, and others prefer a ball to release for their playing style, this is where the PRIME X can help”.
Presently only white are available but optic yellow to follow this summer.
