In the past year the original adicross golf shoe has sold over 200,000 pairs worldwide and maker adidas Golf is hoping to move the needle even higher iwht the updated adicross II. The idea behind adicross and now adicross II is “to combine new adicross II, which is designed to combine all of the performance benefits of a traditional golf shoe with the off-course versatility and contemporary styling of a casual shoe.”
“The tour-proven adicross II provides superior traction and comfort in all types of weather and any course-condition a golfer can expect to encounter,” said Bill Price, Vice President of adidas Golf Footwear. “Plus, the shoe’s casual, contemporary styling and spikeless sole allow you to wear it with confidence off the course, as well.”
adicross II features new, strategically-placed square-shaped traction lugs and outsole for improved traction and to reduce any marks on the green. There are “flex grooves” at the forefoot to promote flexibility, a natural feel and solid contact throughout the swing. Topped with a full-grain leather upper the adicross II lightweight and durable with a choice between a lace-up and a “fashion-forward” Velcro strap.
Available Nov. 1, the adicross II carries a SRP of $80.
