Nike Golf hires Radcliffe as Director of Engineering for golf clubs

Nike Golf has named Nate Radcliffe its Director of Engineering for golf clubs. Radcliffe comes to Nike after 11 years at Cleveland Golf/Srixon, where he served in a range of research, development and brand Management roles.  Most recently, Radcliffe was Senior Development Manager (R&D) for Cleveland Golf Products.

Radcliffe will work with Nike Golf club guru Tom Stites at Nike Golf’s club research and development facility, The Oven, in Fort Worth, Texas. No doubt he’ll have plenty of input in the Nike clubs Rory McIlroy will play beginning next year. McIlroy is expected to sign a contract with Nike Golf that could be worth as much as $250 million over 10 years beginning in 2013.
