Nike Golf FI Impact shoes for men and women will be available Aug. 1. The company says the FI Impact was inspired the success of its Nike TW’13, which offers fFreedom of movement with maximum ground feel.

Nike Golf staffer Suzann Pettersen worked with the company to design the FI Impact for women, which the company says is designed is designed to mimic and conform to the natural motion of the foot while delivering the protection and traction of a lightweight performance golf shoe. This allows the player, according to Nike Golf, to keep contact with the ground longer, better harnessing the energy of the foot to the shoe and, therefore, the shoe to the ground.
The men’s version of the FI Impact, Nike Golf says, also utilizes the Nike Dynamic Fit system to help harness the foot to provide better support. The shoe also features a Nike Free-Inspired platform and waterproof mesh upper for increased flexibility with breathability.
The men’s and women’s FI Impact shoes each will sell on shelves for around $130.
