Cat Lifts improve core, back and arm strength for injury prevention. (They also improve balance which is an essential golf swing component.)
Make sure you have done a gentle warm up. A few cat/cow rolls will also help loosen the spine before you begin Cat Lifts. Begin in Cat (table like position). Gently extend your right arm and left leg (always work opposite arm/opposite leg). Then lower back into the Cat position. Repeat 15-20 times on both sides. *The addition of weights is completely optional.
