If you head for Kohler, you will find a Pete Dye creation that runs along the western edge of Lake Michigan for some two miles, if you didn’t know any better you would have thought this course had been sitting on this site since golf first came to the United States.

The course was the vision of Herbert V Kohler Jnr who transformed a former airfield into one of the most dramatic courses in the US. Pete Dye may not have moved heaven, but his team of bulldozers certainly moved plenty of earth on this money no object creation.
