The European Tour moves from mainland Europe and pitches up at the K Club in Ireland, host to those memorable Ryder Cup Matches in 2006 and of course Rory McIlroy winning his only Irish Open to date.

Designed by Arnold Palmer in 1991 and originally called the North Course – now known as the Palmer course – it weighs in at 7,350-yards, but don’t worry there are four teeing options for you to choose from.

It’s very much a marmite course – you either love it or hate it – The River Liffey plays a big part in the design of this track and meanders through the course and becomes hazardous on a number of holes, including the 8th, where it runs down the left hand side of the fairway.
