I am away again for the next two weeks so the betting guides will not be as comprehensive as normal. Below is a brief description of the course, my each-way picks and my picks to win. As always good luck!

The European Tour pitches up this week in Germany for the BMW International Open and some of the tours bigger names will be teeing up this week at the Jack Nicklaus designed Gut Larchenhof Golf Club, which sits in between Cologne and Düsseldorf.

The course opened for play in 1997 and a year later it hosted the German Masters, its first European Tour event. The Gut Larchenhof is not a natural golf course and is more in the mould of a modern stadium type course design. Water comes into play on several holes but none more so than the two penultimate holes at 17 and 18, so look for some fireworks here come Sunday.
