One player who went one better than Charley – seven places in fact – was Brendan Steele 28/1 – with PaddyPower – who won this event at his first attempt and then followed it up with a Top 5 finish while defending the title. Brendan has two top 15 finishes here in the last couple of year and started this year in great form with two Top 6 places but he has slightly gone off the boil since then with several Top 20s but not really challenging, I feel that may change when he tees it up here this week.
